Cook Islands Cricket has become the first east Asia-Pacific country to roll out the much awaited Cricket Administrators Programme, which focuses on building off-field club administration to strengthen on-field performances.

In addition to the assessors and presenters courses, there are six modules covering everything from effective meetings through to finances and governance.

Qualified course presenter Koria Patia kick-started the course this week by delivering the assessors and presenters training courses to Cook Islands Cricket staff.

Im very pleased that we are the first country in our region to commence the CAP programme as it sends ICC a strong message that Cook Islands Cricket is pro-active and passionate about the sustainable success of cricket in the Cook Islands, says Patia.

Cook Islands Cricket is actively looking for more participants, so if you would like to assist in strengthening your cricket club while achieving a recognised qualification call Cook Islands Cricket on 20744 or 56502.
