The BCI social mixed volleyball tournament got off to a great start last Wednesday night with more fun to be had by all in round 2 of games this Wednesday night.
Team OKA registered the highest score of the evening with 95 points.
OKA faced a determined Turtles Totoys team who managed to score 65 points against the OKA giants.
Team Kick Ass and Fiji Me were next on top score table after Kick Ass defeated a bubbly BCI Real Steel side 87-68 while the high flying Fiji Me edged out a gutsy Aremango Sharks team 87-79.
TKV 2 had a tough match against team Tokoroa Pride and managed to beat their opponents 86-78.
TKV1 played with lots of spirit but it wasnt enough to beat the WACKeez who ran away with the win 82-73 while team Rukz won by default over the Young Ones.
After the first nights competition teams Kick Ass, Fiji Me and TKV are leading the competition with 3 points in pool A while in pool B OKA, WACKeez and Rukz also share the top spot with 3 points.
There were plenty of laughs heard through the TSA as players put their bodies on the line to dig back and spike over the ball.
Of course seasoned volleyball players stood out in each team and as the 10-week competition progresses skills are sure to get sharper and more accurate.
Volleyball players will return to the Telecom Sports Arena courts on Wednesday night for round 2 of the social mixed volleyball league.
Spectators can also expect lots of nonstop action with 3 games playing at the same time.
At 6pm pool B teams will face off and at 7pm pool A teams will take to the court.
