This will be an ultra busy week at all levels of the rugby pyramid as Cook Islands Rugby Union look to establish annual competition pathways with emphasis on outer islands inclusion.

Former New Zealand sevens player Chad Tuoro will be in Rarotonga for the whole week to assist with the under 13 three-day school holiday programme for both boys and girls starting today at 10am at the Tupapa field.

The kids will be split into three age groups – those aged under seven, ages seven to 10 and the older kids aged 10 to 13.

Registration for the kids holiday programme will start at 9.30am so parents please drop the kids off early.

If there are any coaches, parents or volunteers who would like to assist or be involved with the holiday programme, please see Ben Koteka or call 54469.

The holiday programme on Monday and Tuesday will progress to the Wednesday CIPS under 15 college sevens tournament which includes Aitutaki and Atiu College teams.

On Thursday and Friday the CITC Constitution sevens tournament will be held.

On Saturday the final kids’ holiday programme day will be held which will involved a Rippa tournament for teams from under 13 to 19 in a Town versus Country format.
