The second round of Computer Man Super Six cricket saw plenty of big action and big hits last weekend.
Toala Teinakis Tupapa Panthers side amassed a total of 382 runs against the Avatiu Nikao Electric Eels as Teinaki lead the charge with a superb 109 runs within 15 overs while his teammates all performed well to secure solid starts to reach the big total.
The Eels could only manage 130 runs in reply the win pushing the Panthers to 1st on the table and the Eels to 6th place.
The Takuvaine TKV sides recent solid form stepped up yet another notch last weekend as they secured a tightly contested match in Matavera. The TKV side kept cool heads to secure 143 runs Matavera looked in good shape at 105 for 3 however mature bowling from TKV, including Vinegar Tiro, was the difference as they snaffled the remaining 7 Matavera wickets for just 32 runs. TKV go 2nd on the table as Matavera place 4th with three rounds left.
The tila boys were in fine form against the Avana All Stars at Victoria Park. Batting first Avana did well to score 94 runs however it wasnt enough as Tupapa 2 batted convincingly to get the runs in the middle overs. The win, the first of the season for the tila boys, takes them to third place on the table while Avana occupy 5th place ahead of the Eels on run rate.
