Bears and Bulldogs go head to head

The Arorangi Bears and Bulldogs under 19 grades will kick start round 7 of the league competition today at Raemaru Park.

The match starts at 4pm followed by the reserves game between these two clubs.

Raemaru Park will host three junior grades on Friday.

These include the under 13 grade match between the Bears and Avatiu Eels, and the under 13 grade game between the Tupapa Panthers and Ngatangiia Sea Eagles.

The last match of the day will be the game between the under 16 Bears and Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs premier grade travels to Aitutaki this week to battle with the Sharks on Friday at Vaipae field.

On Saturday the Avatiu Eels take on the Panthers at the Swamp and the Sea Eagles host the Takuvaine Warriors at Nukupure Park. - MW

Thursday 17 Bears vs Bulldogs at Raemaru Park – 4pm under 19 grade, Ref-A Emile assisted by T Tuakana and S Teiotu, 5pm reserves grade, Ref-N Takaiti assisted by S Willis and T Manea.

Friday 18 at Raemaru Park – 3.30pm under 13 Panthers vs Sea Eagles, Ref-J Murray assisted by P Ngaroi and P Mitchell, 4.15pm under 13 Bears vs Eels, Ref-B Bishop assisted by P Mitchell and N Takaiti, 5pm under 16 Bears vs Bulldogs, Ref-P Ngaroi assisted by B Bishop and N Takaiti.

Saturday 19 Eels vs Panthers at the Swamp – 1pm under 16, Ref-T Benioni assisted by P Mitchell and J Murray, 2pm masters, Ref-papa volunteers, 2.30pm reserves, Ref-A Emile assited by Bi Bishop and P Mitchell, 4pm under 19, Ref-T Manea assisted by T Benioni and B Bishop, 5pm premiers, Ref-N Tou assisted by A Emile and T Manea.

Saturday 19 Sea Eagles vs Warriors at Nukupure Park – 1pm under 16, Ref-K Kopu assisted by P Ngaroi and N Takaiti, 2pm under 19, Ref-P Rongokea assisted by R Mato and S Teiotu, 3pm reserves, Ref-N Takaiti assisted by K Kopu and R Mato, 4.30pm premiers, Ref-S Willis assisted by P Rongokea and S Teiotu.
