Arorangi Bears play fun day

The Arorangi Bears rugby league club will pay homage to their players and sponsors whove supported the club throughout the 2011 season.

The clubs under 13 grade will be treated to a morning of mini golf fun and in the afternoon a number of presentations will be made.

The afternoons event, to be held at Raemaru Park and club rooms will start with opening devotions at 2pm.

The programme includes the presentation of the clubs age grade, premier reserve and premier grade.

One of the highlights today will be the presentation of the inaugural Club Champions Shield to the all the captains of the Bears club teams.

The shield sponsored by Turtles Sports was awarded to the Bears after the club registered the most wins through the 2011 season to earning a whopping 104 points.

A kaikai has been organised for after the formal function and a number of other activities are on the cards for the clubs young rising stars while the adults will swap stories and relax at the club rooms.

All Bears supporters, players and families are invited to Raemaru Park to enjoy the days programme and show your pride for the club and its achievements throughout the 2011 season.
