Great sailing conditions in double header regatta
Winners are grinners as the winning sailors collect their awards after two sailing regatta's were run simultaneously earlier this month. 14090820

Two sailing regattas were run simultaneously on Muri lagoon earlier this month with the junior sailors in the open Bic class and veteran seniors in the Sunburst class.11 juniors and seven seniors with crew enjoyed great sailing conditions, finishing with some very close results between the 1st and 2nd places in each fleet.Many thanks to officials of the day, without whom these events would not happen. Meitaki maata.Successful were the following – Sunbursts-1st Freerk Kempkers, 2nd Peter Heays and Joseph Aoina, 3rd Joanna Kempkers and Freddy Markwell, Open Bic – 1st Teakauo Franheim, 2nd Tyler Davis, 3rd Ngarangi Mapu.
