A festival of football action for all followers of the game on Rarotonga is on the cards today. This will be the case in the Cook Islands Football (CIFA) Knockout Cup Semi Finals at the CIFA Complex scheduled to kick off at 4.15pm in the under 14 boys division.

The Arorangi jetty was the best vantage point on the west side of the island to check out the oe vaka action during Wednesday’s Pacific Cup and Pacific Paddle round Raro relay race. When the canoe’s came into view, Arorangi School students flocked to the end of the jetty to cheer on the oe vaka crews and especially their adopted vaka team, the Brisbane River Dragons paddling club. The visiting club spent a day with the Arorangi kids and gifted the school with much needed resources and in return, the students cheered their hearts out for their team. 12112840
