Dear Editor, The first thing that springs to mind about the tsunami of tax haven data leaks spilling out around the globe is that of all the countries named so far; British Virgin Islands, Isle of Man, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, New Zealand and the Cook Islands, we the Cook Islands- have the highest level of exposure.

Dear Editor, The New Zealand Herald has reported that Zespri the kiwifruit company has become embroiled in a major fraud to avoid Customs duties in China by its importing agent in China "issuing TWO SETS (author’s emphasis) of invoices for shipments" and that Zespri "knew about - or tolerated - an obviously illegal ruse to rip off the Chinese Government" (NZ Herald March 30 ’Questions over Zespri’s role in scheme’).
