Dear Editor, I act for Toa Petroleum and in my view, it is important that your readers are informed of the correct facts concerning the article published in your newspaper on August 17 2013 entitled “Demos Toagate bill to ‘erase debt’”.

Dear Editor, I write in response to your article “Demos Toagate bill to ‘erase debt’” published in your newspaper on August 17, and in particular the leader of the opposition Wilke Rasmussen’s reported comment that the draft legislation being prepared by the opposition was “a way of erasing the debt”.

Dear Editor, Driving on Rarotonga’s roads at night, especially when raining, is dangerous! I could not see the road lines and markings-neither could the oncoming traffic which was in the middle of the road! Come on Ministry of Works – stick to a road painting schedule every four months and she’ll be right.
