Dear Editor, As one of the original complainants about noisy bike mufflers, and dangerous/stunch riders, let me publicly commend the Akava for their very strong response to closing down the noisy/dangerous bike riding hoons who have been terrorising our roads for far too long.

Dear Editor, I read with interest the travel details of our Government MPs. Would it be possible to ask that the powers that be, not lump all the expenditure into one pot. If some of this travel is by invitation i.e. sponsorship for the fares and accommodation, it is not very transparent when its treated as a tiopu.

I want to confirm that it is against the law to bring any form of cannabis product into the Cook Islands including CBD – cannabidiol – which is an ingredient in cannabis and has some therapeutic uses, without providing the ‘high’ that some cannabis users seek.

Dear Editor, Perhaps Mrs Tina Browne would care to comment publicly, now as leader of the Opposition, but way back appearing for the landowner in the December, 1989 confirmation of alienation hearing concerning the “Sheraton Hotel” lease, with Justice Dillon presiding. When asked by Justice Dillon “…do you consider the arrangement now proposed to be in the public interest”. Mrs. Browne replied “…I do.”

Kia Orana! My husband and I left Cook Islands just yesterday (Tuesday) after a 10-day vacation on Rarotonga. The weather was not kind during our stay but the friendliness of the local people more than made up for that, on this our fifth visit.
