Sir, I cannot agree more with Mr Manganese that both our globe-trotting Prime Minister and Paul Lynch from the Seabed Minerals Authority (SMA) need to pull their heads out of the clouds, face reality and acknowledge that any possible future exploitation of the minerals that lie 3,000 to 5,000 metres down on our country’s seabed will remain untouched and not mined for at least another 50 to 100 years.
