Firstly, congratulations on your April Fools Day prank of “greening-up” the stairs to the Courthouse, because you actually had some fools believing it! The giveaway for me was the shocking green colour of the stairs, as only a four-year old pre-schooler playing with his colouring-in book would come up with a horrible green. I would have thought a subtle grey would have been nice.

In response to your front page article on Thursday headlined “How did they miss the guns?”, I’d like to point out that the container in question was imported into Rarotonga six years before the shooting incident, and was searched thoroughly by two Customs Officers, two Biosecurity officers and two police officers (with narcotics dogs) at the time.
