Family and friends farewell Mama Olly Silk

Olly Silk was buried at sea this month. Her daughter “PJ” and husband Munro Hockin, close family friends Gaye Whitta, Mark Boyd and friends accompanied her gurney onboard ‘Akura’. 21082502.
Olly Silk, the last surviving partner of the Silk & Boyd Ltd shipping company and veteran golfer, was buried at sea yesterday. She passed away on Saturday, a year shy of her 90th birthday.
