The Opposition do not have any clue of what they were talking about, it is all about sweet talk but no real life experience of recovering a table by diversifying to what. If we talk about the resource of the Cook Islands of diversifying from Tourism, the nodules is there to be harvest waiting in time to be brought up, but they are the ones keeping on holding this mighty revenue down the depth of the ocean not to be diversified. Another source of manufacturing tin foods of fish, coconut cream, pineapple & orange juice in Rarotonga and so forth. The Northern Group Islands for their ladies art & craft and fish to be exported overseas. Anyway, the Department of the Finance do have some strategies put in place especially for young people to remain in the Cook Islands.
