The theme of the event is ‘Celebrate, Proclaim and Grow in Christ – Akaepaepa, Akakite, Kia Tupu i roto i te Mesia’.
From 8.30am the Nikao Praise and Worship team will entertain the audience; the official service is scheduled to start at 9am.
At 10am the unveiling of the Bicentenary Commemorative plaques will start; two minutes of silence will be observed.
Representatives of John Williams, Papehia and Vahapata will be given the honour to unveil, followed by representative from the Makea Ariki tribe and a representative of the CICC.
The entertainment programme will be held outside the Ruatoka Hall with musical items by the six Ekalesias on Rarotonga: Avarua Christian Youth, Matavera Christian Youth, Ngatangiia Christian Youth, Titikaveka Christian Youth, Arorangi Christian Youth and the Nikao Christian Youth.
The lowering of the CICC flag will mark the closing of the occasion followed a kaikai.
