COOK ISLANDS tourism opened a seminar on Thursday night for local tour operators and animal experts. The seminar featured an information session by local whale biologist, Nan Hauser on whale watching best practice and a synopsis of the current whale season and concluded with a talk by Laura Wells on marine plastic pollution: issues and solutions.
