Survey checks status of rare bird

FROM SEPTEMBER 26-30, Te Ipukarea Society project officer Liam Kokaua joined the scientific team conducting the first-ever survey of the Kura (Rimatara Lorikeet) on Atiu, since the introduction of 27 birds from Rimatara to Atiu in 2007.
