An excited group gathered in Niue's airport to watch the arrival of Anjalee the elephant in an RN ZAF Hercules aircraft. However, the giant animal was kept out of sight as it was taken to its special enclosure.
After making a return visit to Rarotonga recently, former CINews reporter Jonathon Harwood travelled to Niue for a week. His stay on the island coincided with the arrival of a special visitor – one who was earlier turned away from the Cook Islands.
