The winner of the Paradise Pit Stop CI News Summer Hot Shots photo competition is this zany shot by Simone Fe'ao of her husband Tony and their children cooling off in Muri lagoon on a classic Rarotonga summer's day. The idea of using a hanging palm frond to keep the family's collection of beach towels dry led to a great photo opportunity that attracted the most Facebook likes and also met the approval of our international judge who said the colourful holiday snapshot would make a great promotional image for Cook islands' tourism.
