Avana Harbour will be packed with school students to welcome home voyagers on their way to Rarotonga for the inaugural Te Manava Vaka Festival. The festival will begin when the vaka fleet arrives on Friday morning.
With the tides bringing the seven traditional voyaging vaka fleet closer to home, it’s a case of ‘all hands on deck’ for island communities hosting the voyaging manuiri arriving for Te Manava Vaka Festival.
