Exciting drum beats composed by Mark Short brought energy and life to Atiu's spectacular ura pa'u at the National Auditorium on Wednesday night.

THE SKIES were clear and the stars were bright for the third night of Te Maeva Nui celebrations on Wednesday. Groups making last-minute costume checks could be seen as we walked towards the auditorium, the excitement and passion to perform the items to honour each group’s Ariki and their atamira almost tangible.
