Dear Editor, I write in response to your article “Demos Toagate bill to ‘erase debt’” published in your newspaper on August 17, and in particular the leader of the opposition Wilke Rasmussen’s reported comment that the draft legislation being prepared by the opposition was “a way of erasing the debt”.
