Rats ‘are a big deal’

Dear Editor, In response to the Empire Cinema Manager regarding the rat infestation at the Empire Theatre, in particular their closing statement: "The Kiore, like other pests like the Myna bird, Manu Kaumani etcetera are a part of life here in the Cook Islands and we can take a cavalier attitude because it’s how it is - not really a big deal.
