Dear Editor, I would like to respond, please, to two recent articles in your paper, the first appearing on 22 September (p.13, ‘No official list of threatened species’, reported by Calida Smylie), the second on 10 October (p.8, ‘Kopeka our most threatened bird’, same byline). Both were reported as having originated from Cook Islands Natural Heritage Trust (CINHT) and quoted its director, Mr Gerald McCormack.
