The Rarotonga football season continues to entertain fans with the exciting round six results.

The various age categories provided nail-biting games that left spectators on the edge of their seats.

The Under 6 mix saw a close encounter between Nikao FC and Tupapa FC, with Tupapa securing a narrow victory with a 4-3 win.

In contrast, Titikaveka FC demonstrated their dominance against Puaikura FC, delivering a staggering 16-0 win.

As for the Under 8 Mix category, Nikao FC continued their winning streak against Avatiu FC with a 5-2 victory.

Matavera FC secured a solid 2-0 win against Tupapa FC, and Titikaveka FC barely clinched a win against Puaikura FC with a score line of 1-0.

In the Under 10 Mix category, intense matches continued as Nikao FC edged past Avatiu FC, finishing with a 4-3 result.

Matavera FC managed to pull off a close 2-1 win over Tupapa FC, while Titikaveka FC comfortably scored an 8-3 win over Puaikura FC.

In the Under 12 Mix matches, fans witnessed two nail-biting draws: Nikao FC vs Avatiu FC ended in a 1-1 draw, and Titikaveka FC vs Puaikura FC shared the spoils at the same score.

Between these closely-fought contests, Matavera FC narrowly lost to Tupapa, finishing with a tight score line of 0-1.

The Under 15 girls matches saw Nikao secure an important win over Avatiu, chasing down a modest total of one goal.

The other two games produced comfortable victories for Tupapa and Puaikura as they outclassed their respective opponents, Matavera FC and Titikaveka FC, in games that ended with scores of 0-5 and 0-1.

Meanwhile, the Under 15 boys experienced high-scoring games, Avatiu FC defeating Nikao FC with an impressive 5-0 victory. 

In contrast, Matavera FC managed to beat Tupapa FC with a slim two-goal margin in a match that ended at 5-3. Titikaveka FC put on an outstanding performance against Puaikura FC, finishing with a dominant 5-0 win.

The Under 18 men’s matches showed that strong teams prevailed, as Avatiu secured an excellent three-goal victory over Nikao, while Titikaveka FC overwhelmed Puaikura FC by outscoring them with a stunning count of 7 to Puaikura's single goal.

The match between Matavera and Tupapa ended more closely as both teams decided to share the points with a draw of one goal each.

In senior women's matches, Avatiu demolished Nikao FC with a remarkable score of 6-2.

At the same time, Puaikura asserted their dominance over Titikaveka taking home a comprehensive three-goal victory.

Fans eagerly await the results of the postponed encounter between Matavera and Tupapa.

Lastly, in the premier men's category, Nikao edged past Avatiu in a thrilling match that concluded at just over double digits with a score of 4-3.

Tupapa exhibited exceptional form against Matavera FC, surging ahead with four points and a clean sheet. Titikaveka fought hard but succumbed to Puaikura's strength, resulting in a resounding defeat of 1-4.

This week, round seven will kick off with grassroots taking place at the CIFA complex at 4.15pm today.

Midweek matches will be between Titikaveka FC and Tupapa FC at the Titikaveka field.

On Saturday, Nikao Sokattak FC and MAtavera-Ngatangiia FC will be hosted at the CIFA Complex and Puaikura FC will host Avatiu FC at Raemaru Park.
