Today marks an exciting milestone in the 2024 CIFA Knock-Outs Competition as the grassroots teams step into the spotlight for the semi-finals.

This action-packed day at the CIFA Complex will showcase the incredible talent, passion, and determination of young athletes from multiple age groups, as they battle it out for a chance at glory.

The first semi-final matches will get underway at 4:15pm, featuring teams from the U6, U8, U10, and U12 mixed categories. These matches are not only a celebration of the beautiful game, but also a chance for the younger generation to demonstrate their skills, teamwork, and love of football. The energy will be palpable, and family members, friends, and local football supporters are encouraged to come down to the CIFA Complex and cheer on these young players as they give it their all on the field.

The excitement starts in the U6 Mixed category, where two thrilling matchups are set to take place. In the first match, Titikaveka will face Tupapa-Maraerenga in a clash of youthful enthusiasm and fierce competition. These teams have shown incredible spirit throughout the season, and this showdown is bound to be filled with unforgettable moments. The second U6 match features Puaikura against Avatiu, with both teams looking to make their mark in the knockout rounds.

The U8 Mixed division promises to deliver even more thrills, with the top placed team, Titikaveka, going head-to-head with Puaikura in an intense and fast-paced match. With both teams brimming with talent, this game will surely set the tone for a fantastic day of football. Meanwhile, the second U8 match sees Avatiu facing Tupapa-Maraerenga, as these teams fight for a place in the final.

Next up, the U10 Mixed teams will take the field. In one of the most anticipated matchups of the day, Matavera-Ngatangiia will challenge the dynamic Puaikura squad. Both sides have shown exceptional skill and teamwork, making this match a must-watch. Meanwhile, Titikaveka will take on Tupapa-Maraerenga in another exciting contest that promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats. The U12 Mixed semi-finals will be fiery, with defending champions Nikao Sokattak facing off against Titikaveka.
