Nicknamed ‘Danny Boy’ the popular and multi-skilled, goal kicking fullback/utility back was from the village of Arorangi.
He was a key member of the Sheraton 7s Team – inaugural winners of the Rarotonga International 7s in 1989.
In 1989 he played for the Cook Islands team at the Marists 7s in Samoa.
He also represented the Cook Islands National 15s team debuting at the 1983 South Pacific Games in Samoa and finishing his international career in 1992 playing against the NZ Maori’s in Rarotonga.
