Team Cook Islands unveils Pacific Games uniform

Team Cook Islands’ uniform for the Pacific Games in Honiara, Solomon Islands, was launched last night by Prime Minister Mark Brown. The Games will be held from November 19 to December 2.

The team also announced Touch rugby’s Julieanne Westrupp and Stephen Willis (rugby) as their official flagbearers.

Prime Minister Brown wished the 230 athletes, including managers and officials, the very best.

Meanwhile the Rarotonga-based athletes will take part in a parade starting at 9:30am today from the Avarua Harbour to the Punanga Nui Market stage for a short programme. Tomorrow, the national team will attend a church service at the St Joseph’s Cathedral in Avarua at 10:30am.

Team Cook Islands will compete in Athletics, Boxing, Swimming, Weightlifting, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Golf, Netball, Oe Vaka, Rugby, Rugby League, Tennis, Touch Rugby at the 2023 Games.
