Titikaveka premier side will be hoping to continue their winning run in the Rarotonga Netball Club competition against Tupapa this afternoon.

The two clubs will meet at Victoria courts in Tupapa.

Tupapa is also unbeaten in the competition after overcoming Arorangi, Ngatangiia/Matavera and TKV (47-43) last week.

Titikaveka prems will enter today’s match on a high following their last week’s win against arch rivals Avatiu 53-50.

Netball Cook Islands secretary Tekura Moeka’a said the match of the week between the two unbeaten sides will be an exciting one.

In the other matches, Takuvaine will host Arorangi while Ngatangiia/Matavera will battle Avatiu in Muri.

“Junior games are usually the most anticipated games. With Rising Stars also in its second week, the junior players have had many game plays,” Moeka’a said.

“Netball Cook Islands is elated to have a season amidst this pandemic changing environment. Though a slow start, over the last few weeks clubs have seen an influx of players especially in the age groups.”
