Week four of the Netball Cook Islands’ 2025 domestic competition will determine the premier division’s points table leader, as Titikaveka Pearls host Tupapa today.

After the week three matches last weekend, both premier teams are tied on top with six points each, followed by Avatiu with four and Arorangi with two.

Netball Cook Islands president Ngere Puia says that both Titikaveka and Tupapa have won all three games in the premier division, and whoever wins today will earn another two points and take the lead on the points table.

Meanwhile, in the reserves category, Titikaveka are leading alongside Arorangi with four points followed by Avatiu and Tupapa with two points.

In other matches today, Avatiu, who is leading the points table in the 6U, 14U and Open 2 categories, will host Takuvaine.

Puia says they are grateful to all six clubs for their involvement in this season’s local competition.

She said that only two clubs, Titikaveka (10U) and Ngatangiia/Matavera (Reserve Grade), were unable to field teams in all 10 divisions.

“Reports from club delegates have been very positive, especially with the junior teams. Coaches are happy with the progress of their players,” Puia said.

“Ball skills have improved along with team development.”
