Dear Mr, Mrs, Miss, Master Cartoonist, Ghost writer-artist (of CIs.news 25/02/25 Kata’s page 4), there is absolutely no such thing as luck, chance nor coincidence but faith, obedience and belief in Jesus Christ, who says in John 14:10 – 14: “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11, Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

Verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14, if ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it”. 

He was the only human person who ever walked upon the crest of the waves and at his presence subsided instantly, and as the wind ceased, “they that were in the ship came and worshipped him…”(Mathew 14:22-33).

On another occasion when awoken from sleep and in the middle of a storm, he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, “Peace be still”.

And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. “And he said unto them, why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?” So do all Christian prayer groups do for our nation of the Cook Islands throughout the entire Cyclone Season from November 1^st to the end of March each annually, for which our Cook Islands government supported with funds to assist the costs to every Religious Advisory Council Annual Cyclone Thanksgiving Services that are being held at our National Auditorium since year 2005 when five tropical cyclones came closest to hitting us but did not.

 Except Cyclone Pat hit Aitutaki in 2010 and thank God that we the Cooks have been spared to now. Could it be an answer to the prayers of the faithful and righteous or not, those who may call it luck, chance or coincidence Jesus calls them as “Men of little faith”, meaning people without substance of faith, obedience and belief in the One True and Living God Jesus Christ. I do take your cartoon presentation as compliment cause whether anybody believe or not in the power of prayer in Jesus Christ, so long as there are righteous people and righteousness exalting Jesus in our nation, you are all covered too under the wings of grace and mercy of our Almighty God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

He personally declared in Matthew 28:18, “All power in heaven and in earth is given to me…For neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST BE SAVED, BUT JESUS CHRIST ONLY” (Acts 4:12). God bless, protect, save and prosper our tiny, little paradise nation of the Cook islands and cause us to be light to all nations living in ignorance and blindness to the revealed Truth, Resurrection and Life in Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen!
