All CISNOC did last year was let Owen Lewis, the general secretary, go overseas and do another job while still being paid full time for his job here. They pretended he was on a break.
CISNOC’s soft release online says Owen is going to Education. When the newspaper asked Hugh (Graham, president of CISNOC) he made out the executive didn’t know anything about it. Now Hugh says they are obviously proud of Owen. For what? Did Owen meet his KPIs last year he took sport for a humdinger ride by not showing up to work while CISNOC paid him? What a bromance Owen and Hugh have together wearing matching shirts.
Hugh says the executive members are going on a retreat to discuss it. What the heck, who pays for that? Someone ask them where’s the half million dollars the government gave them for Pacific Games?
Owen may be related to educators but his appointment was a mate’s handshake, not an industry choice. So much for showing equality and equity in the Cook Islands. It’s still who you know every time and another bromance.
