A Samoan passenger ferry chartered by the Cook Islands government for $640,000 is scheduled to arrive in Rarotonga today and take 160 New Zealand and Australia based people of Pukapuka descent to the northern island. Al Williams reports.

Same old nonsense. No problem to find monies for junkets and show pieces like the Forum EVs at the expense of some Pa Enua missing out. This makes a mockery of the budget appropriation processes. Got to grovel etc in the system to try and get yr loader replaced and to have your machinery shed built which was approved back in 2015 . Nothing has changed except the spin has become more sophisticated.
