With victories in both youth and senior divisions, Aitutaki's fighters showcased exceptional skill and preparation, establishing themselves as the island with the most points.
One of the standout performances for Aitutaki came in the U18 Women’s 91+kg division, where Lawesha Samuel Mario claimed the gold medal.
Aitutaki secured another gold in the highly competitive Open Men’s 81-85kg category, further demonstrating their consistency in producing top-level athletes across both junior and senior ranks.
While Aitutaki led the medal tally, other islands also delivered impressive performances. Mangaia showcased their talent with Teono Aberahama winning gold in the U18 Men’s 65-70kg division. Mangaia also secured silver in the Open Women’s 91+kg category through Tuakana Tuainekotai Tangimetua.
Mauke added to the competition’s intensity with Joseph Taripo winning gold in the Open Men’s 76-80kg category. Their athletes also secured multiple bronze medals across various divisions, reinforcing their competitive edge throughout the tournament.
Atiu proved their strength with a gold medal win in the U18 Men’s 70-75kg category and added several silver and bronze medals, reflecting their consistent podium finishes.
Manihiki and Rarotonga were not left behind, with Rarotonga’s Caleb Ngamata claiming gold in the U18 Men’s 76-80kg category, and Manihiki securing multiple silver medals in various weight classes.
