Deluge makes hard work of voyage preparations

Torrential rain and generally miserable weather conditions on Tuesday afternoon weren’t enough to deter Taio Shipping staff from preparing the Lady Moana for her final voyage of 2022 to the Southern Group Islands.

The vessel was a hive of activity as the ship was fuelled and last-minute cargo loaded.

The Lady Moana is visiting Atiu, Mitiaro and Mauke. Also in port was the General Transport barge MV Taunga Nui was also in port, offloading cargo from the Northern Group.
