This time lapse sequence shows a Full Moon “floating” in the reddish Earth’s shadow, captured in 2018 in Thailand. The Moon is strangely orange and red during the total eclipse, but after this phase it starts to secede from the shadow and an hour and half later there is a common Full Moon in the sky again.
