I meet with the commissioner on several occasions and also his deputy. The passion to drive an effective Police force was evident as was the desire for co operation and co ordination with the other emergency services. Unfortunately the politics and therefore the Police Minister were not so forthcoming. Hopefully the Ombudsman office will uncover the real issues behind the complaints.
