Parents, families, and friends gathered at the school grounds in the morning preparing and barbecuing food, roasts, and curries, and purchasing raffles and plates of food.
The students had a wonderful time using the popular bouncy castle and enjoyed face painting and coconut bowls.
Earlier this week, Deputy Prime Minister Albert Nicholas donated foldable tables to the school that were blessed by Bishop Reynaldo Getalado.
Last week the school hosted Bishop Paul Donoghue beginning with a Thanksgiving Mass in the St Joseph’s Cathedral – this was his last church service for the school.
On Tuesday the student's mid-year school reports were distributed to parents and guardians, and teacher-parent report interviews were held.
A school breakfast was held last month – a new initiative for St Joseph’s – to which children brought cereal, fruit, and milk to school, and families donated breakfast supplies..
The morning event was deemed a success as the students loved the sharing experience of a school breakfast.
