Prime Minister Mark Brown and his Cabinet will make a final decision on the Narcotics and Misuse of Drugs Amendment Act 2023, which allows anyone prescribed medicinal cannabis to import or possess it within the Cook Islands, next week. LOSIRENE LACANIVALU/23121360
The law legalising medicinal cannabis is set to come into effect this month, requiring patients to have prescriptions and drugs to be imported from New Zealand or Australia.
