During the two-week holidays, student Usaia Ravula spent a week on the island of Mangaia with the Children’s Ministry tour.
“It was good, I went to the caves on Mangaia, I had fun… and I ate,” he said shyly.
Ratu Tusitima was happy to talk about his dance performance for the Fiji Day celebrations during the school break. “I danced, I was good, and I like holidays,” he said, “but I like school too and I’m happy.”
Term 4, the last education semester of the year, is when the popular annual prize giving awards for each of the schools in the Cook Islands are held. School breaks up on Friday, December 11 for the long festive season holidays.
