“Others in the Pacific community will see the action to reinstate Robert Tapaitau as a Minister of the Crown as a mistake, and one that tarnishes the Cook Islands already poor perception for being too willing to put up with political corruption.” I’m so sad that we are perceived this way. That’s no fault of the media- don’t shoot the messenger. It’s unfortunately the truth that our people are so apathetic. The only people who can change this perception are the next generation.
