ILO reaffirms commitment to Cook Islands

International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Martin Wandera presented his credentials to the Minister for Foreign Affairs Tingika Elikana on Monday.

Minister Elikana said the meeting was meant to reinforce the ILO’s commitment to working with the Cook Islands government and its agencies. “I express the government gratitude to ILO for their assistance overtime in assisting the Cook Islands.” On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), ILO Pasifika stated that the meeting strengthened ties on employment, social protection and labour rights.
