Police spokesman Trevor Pitt said he does not have any information on the Titikaveka incident but “believe the post is cracked”.
A Te Aponga Uira truck was seen on Saturday attending to the power pole.
For the broken window incident, Pitt said a 30-year-old visitor involved sustained a gash to the leg and was admitted to Rarotonga hospital for observation yesterday.
“That call came in at 9.05pm (Saturday). He is alleged to have kicked the glass. Case is pending.”
In a separate incident, a minor motorbike spill occurred on the back road near Ariki Café. The driver of the motorbike fled the scene.
Police also received a report of two females fighting in Takuvaine early hours of Sunday morning. One female was arrested for assault, and bailed to appear in court on Thursday.
Meanwhile another brush fire needed attention on Saturday, as concerns for unattended rubbish fires continues to mount in Rarotonga.
The fire at the back road of Akaoa was reported at 5.45pm and attended to by the Puaikura Volunteer Brigade. Pitt said: “Too many are occurring due to a lack of responsibility to supervise burns, especially rubbish, which can spread easily due to current dry and windy conditions.”
