The accused facing a charge of indecent assault is now on bail under the conditions of curfew between 7pm-7am or when needed for work at 4.30am.
He was ordered to surrender his passport by yesterday afternoon, and not to leave Rarotonga without the approval of the Court.
The accused, who is represented by defence lawyer Henry Herman, was also ordered not to go within 100 metres of the complainant’s residence and not contact any of the Crown witnesses.
Justice of the Peace Tangi Taoro said that due to the circumstances of the case all details relating to the charges are suppressed.
The matter has been adjourned to February 27.
