My 10-year-old daughter knows nothing about politics let alone worrying about her future. It’s just cartoons and snacks she is worried about. Come on adults, leave our children out of this political points scoring bull in regards to a TV ad that is an attack on the other party. We all know they memorised their lines. And the guy that came on TV to defend it was clearly not a smart fellow. Freedom of speech? Our generation has a saying: “You’re an egg!”

Dear Editor, A recent report in your newspaper commented on the policy of the Democratic Party policy to bring an end to purse seine fishing in the Cook Islands, saying this would result in lost revenue of at least $4 million and perhaps $10 million. That comment is grossly misleading.
