Pitcairn marine reserve becomes a reality

PITCAIRN ISLAND – The Pew Charitable Trusts has joined the Pitcairn Island Council in praising the British government for last week’s designation approximately 830,000 square kilometres of ocean as a marine reserve in the remote waters surrounding the Pitcairn Islands in the South Pacific Ocean.
