The opening round of the competition, which was attended by the Cook Islands Cricket Association chief executive officer Davis Teinaki, was buzzing with excitement especially among the children who were eager to try out the sport. Teinaki said the organisers have included an Under-13 mixed grade in their competition to develop cricket on the island.
