New deal with Korean company will expand purse seine fishery

Cabinet agreed that Government will make a new access arrangement with South Korean fishing company Silla Co Ltd for 400 days of purse seining in our waters. The deal is an estimated $4 million. Pictured is an estimate of the area covered by the net.
