Confirm PM costs please

Dear Editor, If the Prime Minister’s visit to NZ last week was “personal” can the Prime Minister’s Office confirm whether Cabinet approved for $2000 from the civil list to assist in covering his travel costs? I understand that $1000 was for “entertainment” and the remaining $1000 to cover other so-called travel-related costs.
